(22. May 2013) 16 players have been eliminated in Round 1 of the Challenger League. Today we will see eight more missing the opportunity to secure a spot in next season's Premier League. Pretty big names had to leave in the first round, e.g. duckdeok from Korea, Bischu or Socke, who lost to ToD, our part-time caster of Premier League.

(21. May 2013) Today is the first day of Challenger League. In the Bracket Stage's first round 32 players will play one match to advance to tomorrow's second round. These players either qualified via four open qualifiers for Challenger League or have been eliminated in Round of 32 of Premier League two weeks ago. (21. May 2013) Eight players from seven nations qualified for the first ever WCS Europe Playoffs. On May 25th and 26th all of them will meet at ESL TV Studio One in Cologne to determine the European champion of this season, who receives no only $20,000 but also 1,500 WCS points. Furthermore, the top 5 players qualify for the Season 1 Finals, where they will meet eleven top players from America and Korea.
